fresh faced need to learn fings about audi

newly joined and I'm looking at a nearly new-ish A3 1.4 TFSI SE (?)
any recommendations as to what to look for or how to identify exact details for it (not even sure which forum to look in for this model),, thanks in advance

Hi Alan, welcome to audi-sport.net. When you say newish what year are you thinking? 2003/4 is 8p chassis and from 2013 onwards is 8v chassis.

Test drove the A3 1.4 tfsi on a 66 plate last night.
Nice little motor and pick up from 2/3rd gear was actually quite good.
All over a relatively clean car and no chips to speak of so it looks like i'll be an audi owner soon enough.. I may be asking newbie questions that are totally random,,like where's the fuel cap opener as I'm at the petrol station at stupid o'clock and an empty tank haha
