I think my clutch/fly wheel is about to go on my car. I can feel it and I've been told. How much am i looking at for new parts and labour? Just so I know I won't be getting ripped off. It's only got 76k miles and ive had it 4 years so is this normal?

Many thanks in advance

Is it standard?

Is it going to stay standard?

Mines at 76K also and mines just started slipping too

Labour rates vary, from a specialist expect between £250 and £350. A lot of people get an uprated clutch but keep the dual mass flywheel.

For an uprated clutch expect to pay between £750 and £1000 minus fitting.

I would like to remap it one day but not anytime soon. So yes, just standard

so is that £250- £350 without parts? Wheres best to order the parts from, Audi , or can you get other makes? Total damsel in distress when it comes to things like this :sorry:

Poppy your probably looking at no change from 1k ....

You've not specified what car you have tho, so its a bit hard to give advice on part costs.. ;)

I wont be sending it to audi just a normal garage.. although there is a vag specialist in town who used to work at audi i think

I've got a brand new clutch and flywheel kit here. conversion from dmf to smf. Bought it for wife's and sold car before fitting.
Fits your car. Could do it for £210 posted cost over £330 when I bought it year ago. Just need the space and have no use.

fits 8p 5 speed 1.9tdi 105bhp models.
