My '98 1.8T is fitted with the standard bose stereo = disc changer, but I want to fit a Pioneer MP3 head unit.

Is it possible to do this, and still keep the standard speakers and sub ?

What leads to I need to buy to do this ?

Thanks

You need the wiring adapter kit for Bose active system (RCA version). This will allow you to connect your new HU RCA's to the mini ISO Audi loom to the Bose amps. Bose adapter
You'll also need fascia adapters from your Audi dealer to fill the gaps either side of the dash.

Yea easily done but not particularly cheap. Just fitted a sony mp3 player to mine and it cost me £40 for the wiring loom adapter, the facia blocks were about £10/15 and the Arial adapter £2. Worth it though!
