failed emmisions fault code for exhaust gas temp

Hi just wonders what values I should see at the plug to sensor all visually ok probe looks ok and no damage before I go buy a sensor wanted to check the wIring plug its 3 pin for I guess,
1) 5 volt supply
2) earth
3) return to ecm

Any advise would be good and if anyone has one would be better ,
Also has a fault code for turbo pressure valve mechanical fault but I do have holes in breather and air intake pipes so need to replace them aswell if any one has again I'm interested,

Lambda@0.806. Limits are min 0.970. Max 1.030 so rich lambda sensor on diagnostic machine is switching open closed loop and was changed last yr

So is it not worth checking power supplies and earths before putting on a new one as they are expensive

you can check, but it will confirm sensor function is dead.. and yep VAG will have your trousers down for the price of a new one..

1100'c default on sensor failure often.. which will fuel dump like a mofo

I have bought a used one from a breakers said its of a Audi tt but it has the same part number so should be fine swIg deli wry fit and see..Hi if anyone has a intake pipe I still need one
