Exhaust gas smell in cabin, also stale smell from screen wash resovoir.

Two things I need help with our advise from owners who have had similar issues.

1. The cabin sometimes smells from exhaust gases, I checked the pollen filter and rubber seal that's runs along the top of the engine bay and it seems fine.

2. The screen wash reservoir smells very stale, I washed and flushed it through a couple of times. Then refilled it with new screen wash but after a few days it smells horrible after washing the screen. Has the water bottle got any form off engine pre heat going through it .

Have you checked the exhaust manifolds? If there's a crack in one you wille get exhaust fumes in the engine compartment.
