COULD SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION OF THE EXACT DIFFERANCE BETWEEN 210 AND 225BHP ENGINES ,IS IT VARIABLE VALVE TIMING AND CAN A 210BHP PRODUCE THE SAME POWER WHEN REMAPPED AS THE 225 OR WILL THE 225 ALLWAYS HAVE A 15BHP LEAD WHEN THE SAME WORK IS CARRYED OUT FEEDBACK APPRICIATED

noth will produce the same power once mapped (about 260bhp ish)

the only difference as far as i know was the OEM mapping making one 210 and one 225.

not quite right, I'm sure someone will post the correct answer, but the first 210BHP engine the APY had mechanical VVT, the later were electronic. there are also some component differences, I believe the APY (210) engine has the strongest con-rods, there are other little changes too but nothing dramatic.

they are very similar when mapped, but if your going for BIG power then the 210 is supposed to be better talking over 350BHP.

hope that helps.

yep just as I thought, AMK must be as close as you get to BAM with a different ECU if you look at the below from the other post it appears that AMK has electronic VVT.
