EPC Light

What actually causes this to come on? I just got home after being on the freeway. The car will randomly become jerky for a split second after getting on it WOT. The idle will be raised to around 1100 (like its on the cold start map). The car will feel slightly hesistant when cranking, but it will drive fine otherwise.

I can upload a video of me starting the car a few times. Dont know what thats gonna solve but i can.

CEL:
16804 - Catalytic system (row 1)
17695 - Divertervalve for turbocharger (N249) Interruption

Ive had these CEL's for years and have been unable to get rid of them. They havent caused issues like this before.

I think if you unplug the MAF you get one of the EPC lights on - maybe the triangle?

I get the triangle on under traction control on my TT on tight corners and it doesn't feel jerky apart from the fact the revs are dropped.

there's also ABS sensors on the wheels which effect traction control
