Hi guys
Last night whilst driving, I was going down a steep-ish hill following a lorry, in second gear coming up to a hair pin and then coasting for maybe 20-25m with the car in gear but with the clutch in coming up to the hairpin and the engine completely shuts off.
All the headlights, stereo and everything else was still on.
I cant remember the exact phrase that came up on the dash but it mentioned an esp and abs fault.
The car restarted without any issues and it never happened again for the next 150 miles of my journey.
Has anyone any ideas why this has happened? It happened once before in he town but I didn't think much of it.
Also, do the vag-com hand held readers work in the b8? I had one for my mk4 golf so I can try it in the a4 in 2 weeks
