ENGINE conversion

Hey guys,

Would it be possible to get say maybe a.... b6 or b7 a4 with a 2.0t or 3.0tdi engine and swap it into my b8 2.0tdi cr engine ???

So would the subframes match up and stuff or would it be a massive difference ?? because looking at a few of them on google they look very similar...

Before any one says go buy a 3.0tdi I can't.. I have spent to much into this A4 to sell it so......

2 completely different chassis with different mountings, ecu, drivetrain, floor pans, gearboxes, shafts, suspension etc.

keep the car as it is.

I would think it would be cheaper to take it to a tuner, speak the money you was going to on a swap on it. I'm sure they can make tou happy.
