I have a 55 reg a3 and the steering rack needs replacing, i have found one of a 04 reg.. Would this fit? Is there anything i need to be looking out for when purchasing this part?
Apparently the one that was one that was on my car had the part number a faulty batch audi put on in 2005 according to the breaker? He's sending me one of a a 2007?
In the absence of anything to the contrary, I would get the part number from the breaker, and cross reference it with the part number that you get when you call Audi.
Or, if the breaker has the reg number of the donor car, you can check both part numbers.
