Will this be okay or will it really make the ride bouncy and significantly decrease the shock lifetime?

I have this setup on my car, the ride is less bouncy than stock. Handles much better and looks great.

They've been on my car for over a year and no problems at all

It all depends on how good condition and mileage your originals have done.

Over 60k I'd buy new Bilstein B4 or B8 .

How many miles have your current shocks covered?

Damian @ DPM Performance

About 16k miles. I have the standard suspension.

Will it hold up to the 30mm A3 prokit drop?

How long will my shock last or should I get the B8 with it?

It would be a better option to go for the Bilstein B8 dampers but with that mileage you should still get a good few more miles out of your current dampers even with the Eibach Pro springs fitted.

I've covered 65k miles on stock s-line shocks with H&R supersport springs. Shocks are still going strong.

Thanks for the input all. Seems like stock shocks may be okay.

I was told up to 40mm drop shouldn't worry stock shocks - not sure how accurate that is but it came from a well known tuning parts retailer.

Thanks for the input. I'd probably get the B12 prokit.

BTW, is there a difference between the Eibach-listed B12 vs. Bilstein's B12?

can you please let me know what your Standard (OEM) shocks part numbers are? I guess you´re talking about the oem sachs, but as mine is a 1.8TFSI quattro it might be a little bit different.
thanks in advance!
