EGT sensor died.. is this the post DPF one?

Car doing its best impression of a Christmas tree this morning.. its still November!

EGT bank 1 sensor 3, is that a post DPF one? Seems they are different and want to order the right version, one i think it might be has a brown plug if atall helpful.

Sounds like dpf egt sensor and as you have dpf off you can ignore it and I can code it out for you.

Thanks bobby, I cleared it, gave it a good run to clear out the soot and it hasnt come back on yet.
It stinks.. like really badly of death! cant stand near the car and from inside gets inside the vents which is annoying, so needs a little tweak and health check I think, maybe in the new year if you have space?

Sure maybe injector seals or exhaust welds leaking? Maybe check for soot around the dpf welds.

will try look at the weekend, the welds are on top i think (hidden by the cooler) so might have a little trouble! but great shout, its too cold to have the heating off in favour of not breathing deisel death lol
You said before you was suspiscious of the injector seals so had a naggin feeling it's a little more than leaky exhaust.
