The brakes on my S3 don't have enough bite. I know that the right thing to do would be to get a BBK, but I find it hard to justify the expense. I saw that ECS tuning makes 2 piece semi floating rotors for the golf r.
According to ECS, the fronts are 30% lighter than the OEM units with the rears being 15% lighter.
Would these along with some quality pads and braided lines offer a substantial improvement over the stock setup? Or is it just money down the drain?
