Have seen a few failures of ECP Bosch MAFs and I know Bill no longer gets his from there because of it..
I would also check the sensor to see if its contaminates... they should always be bone dry... if they are not (oil contamination) then you need to eliminate the cause... there is no reason a MAF sensor should see oil... if its oily then there is something else wrong... MAF sensors aren't big fans of oil contamination
Ok cool, i looked on GSF but it just says the brand is Premium so wasn't sure if that meant Bosch.
Ill check it for oil, i use a ramair filter which i don't think are oiled.
Is it worth giving it a clean with electrical contact cleaner or similar?
