Dumb speaker question?

I want to change the front door speakers (mid + tweeter) in my B7 to some that are much better quality? The only problem is my car has BOSE fitted.

Also what size are they? I've got a feeling they are 6.5".

Yes they're 6.5" and you're lucky as the Bose ones are seperate to the spacer rings that bolt to the doors so you can us the existing spacer. You can replace them with 4 ohm components, but you'll probably find you need to fade to front a they won't be as loud a the 2 ohm Bos units, or there are 2ohm components on the market, but very rare.
