Drivers Side Door Handle - Lock Blank?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyones ever blanked their drivers side door lock to match their passenger door?

If so - how did you do it? Can I buy a blanking plate to fit to the existing door handle - or is it a complete handle assembly??

I'm guessing I could use the passenger side door handle from a LHD model if need be......?

Is it doable? Is it easy? Part numbers?

Nah I appreciate its taking a chance - but lets be honest, how often does that scenario happen? I cant remember the last time I ever used a key to gain entry to a car.
