door trims

HI, need to fit some new door trims to my a3, the trims that go round the door pulls and the electric window / mirror switches. To do this the whole door lining needs to be removed. Any one know how to do this without making a complete mess.

There's 2 screws at the top of the trim, one at each end of the door. Remove these. Then remove the main 2 screws which are hidden behind the plastic trim behind the door pull. This trim sort of slides downwards. Lift the door panel vertically upwards & out. It will still be connected to the door via lecky window cables, and door speaker cables. These can be unclipped if you need to work on the panel.
