Does the Bose sound system sound much better over standard S3 stereo!!

Just a quickie to see people's views. Does the Bose system actually sound much better over the standard S3 system, could you connect tje Bose sub/amp up to a normal system ,!

To fit Bose you would have to totally re-wire the car and change all the speakers, amp, sub etc.
Not worth it, better off upgrading to high end aftermarket stuff.

I have Bose, it sounds better than the system in my Golf mk4, but I haven't compared it to a non Bose A3 / S3.
