Looks like a great saving but is it any good?

I have just got normal Sky with no HD and not really any plans to go to HD for a few years.

Would it be a good swap for my 4 year old CRT???

My old man has the very BAT (Big *** Tv) and it's a beast, at that price i'd order it!

Never been very keen on TFT tv's, they always seemed to have contrast issues.

The technology has probably come on a great deal since i last checked out lcd telly's though.

This does look ok for a bargain LCD, but i think i would still buy a plasma over LCD.

Cant go wrong with Toshiba one of the better makes out there. I have two of them a 37" and 42"
