DO YOU GARAGE YOUR CAR?

I use to when I had a garage. I always wanted an electric door opener...lazy me. The car stayed cleaner for longer. On a frosty morning just open the garage and drive out and laugh at the neighbours de-frosting their cars.

My car is parked on the driveway along side my parents car and bros car, knocked the garage down been made into another room which backs into a utility room. when i get my own place gunno make sure i have a garage big enuff to fit an a4

never had the audi in garage, turned it into a gym soon as i got house, just finished building a sauna on the end few weeks ago, lovely coming home to this tym of year:thumbsup:

This is just phishing for addresses of ungaraged high-performance cars :busted_cop:
I thought the same instantly batwad and if anyone were that way inclined I'm sure that if you looked through a members post/pics it could lead to an area near your home but as none of us are twocers were alright
mines on the drive with the zafira behind it,a friend of mine told me not to bother with my old disklok as the only way they can nick it is with the keys
garage is full of kids garden toys and lawnmower etc. and its too narrow

^^^^Sauna...you lucky/clever person

I moved house 4 years ago and the new house has a 70's garage. So I knocked it down and built a nice 20x13 foot garage which I built a nice work area, tool store and has a big spot for my motor in it too....

I reckon the problem factor with garages is that it's hassle for some poeple to put the car away and then get it out. My garage is now at teh back of the garden and the drive to the garage has 6 foot solid gates....so it's a little choir to use the garage.........so we use my wifes car most of the time to do the local nip out trips and she parks at the front of the house.....

The other sad competition is the largest plasma/LCD flat panel...where you can always spot the new entrant to that competition as they no longer close their curtains/blinds, but leave their new TV on for all the passers by to admire.
How very sad...

When I lived in Bedford there was an idiot like that at the entrance to our road. I used to take great joy in flicking onto high beam to fill his living room with light at night.

We got an email from one of our old neighbours recently. He'd seen the guy watching porn at night with the curtains drawn on 50+" screen. I'm sure there's a law against that :-O

I can and we have put Foam padding where we would open the doors. Hee hee. But I am trying to get my husband to clear the garage out so we can put it in again.

I bet your husband is too busy tiling the kitchen, doing the bathroom, cleaning your fish tank, cleaning your car, etc, etc, etc !

:lmfao: :lmfao: :lmfao:

Got a garage on a military base where I live, use it for when I go away to weird middle eastern countrys or when its snowing or icey, was looking forward to being a smug git this winter and not having to de-ice the car every morning but we havent had a decent frost or even a sniff of snow yet...

Got a garage, but the Scooby lives in there, the Audi has to make do with the drive. Makes me laugh with new build houses does anybody actually use the garage to park a car. You could probably get a Fiat 126 in them and thats it.

Mate bought a house recently and he just had the garage converted into another room, as have many of the houses on the estate.

Depends on the builder....I have 2 cars, a chest freezer, a beer fridge, 3 x toolboxes, 2 x VR6 engines, 2 x gearboxes, a mountain bike and 2 ****** great metal storage racks in my garage.
All in a new build house/garage.
...and I can still wakl round each car...

I don't think anybody else on the street use their garage though.

I have a garage but its rammed with junk like usual along with my tool bench and tools etc

the A3 sleeps underneath the carport so its nice and frost free in the winter

almost the same as a garage as its free from the elements and also you can open the doors to get out AND you don't need to faff about with a garage door

My house is about 10 years old and I have enough room to park 2 cars (and still get round them!) 2 metal cabinets, 3 storeage racks, fridge freezer (need to keep the zymol chilled) Tool chest, spare set of rims for the car etc Along with a patio heater that we apperently need (never used it...) gas bbq and the usual garden tools and lawn mower etc plus storegae in the eaves for the garden furniture (apperenlty you can't leave teak table and chairs out all winter...) Although when we where looking for houses most of the garages couldn't house anything bigger than a smart car...

Regarding the plasma thing one of my neighbours got a new screen in the summer and has spent the whole time stood in front of it in his boxers with the curtians open....
