D2 a8 4.2 wheel bearing

just picked up a 1997 D2 a8

got a nasty sounding front wheel bearing, but there appears to be several different ones available, is there any way of knowing for sure which one is the correct one without removing it

chassis no, is WAUZZZ4DZVN000419
