Cruise Control?

Been looking around for the kit for cruise control for my A3, but my engine code is AKL. Ive seen the post that Tuffy linked to the cruise control he uses but my its not compatible with my car. Anyone got any other ideas?

Never heard of a akl engine code. Is it turbo'd or n/a?

Do you get the 'EPC' light in the cluster when you first start the car? If not then its not possible to fit.

Have a look on eBay - there's VW Teesside doing kits with instructions for the 1.6s. If it's an electronic pedal it should be OK.
