creaking steering and elec windows prob

hi all,

just looking for some help. my 2004 s-line has developed 2 problems. 1 the stearing creakes when turning sharply, nearing full lock it gets worse.
2 the windows decided to put themselves down today in the rain. i locked the car 2 sec later the windows go down. convienence system at fault?

just been to audi, guess what the car apparently wouldnt make any noise so we are none the wiser to the problem /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

My girlfriends A4 cab has the same problem with steering noise although it seems to do it only when turning the wheel fairly quickly one way or the other (2003 model). My A4 S-line had the window trouble. You need to reset the one shot lowering/raising. Can't remember how but Audi will know.

window thing was reset. steering seems to be the last half turn before full lock, as if a rubber boot is catching on something
