I enabled the cornering fogs with Carista but they only work with the indicators and not when I turn the steering.

I have scanned the car and have this:

Central electronics
Part #: 8K0907063C
Coding: 260050914134AF311601000000001D0D4F9D470800010141000000 (hex)
Component: BCM1 1.0
Fault codes:
03110 Control Module for Active Steering, no signal / no communication
03207 Charisma Switch Module

Steering angle
[ECU not present]

The Charisma switch is because I enabled ADS but do not have the dash button.

Do I have a problem or do early cars not have the hardware for this to work? Mine is a March 2009 car.

I’ve got a 2010 A4, enabled this and it worked ok. Wasn’t too keen on it tho so disabled it. Have you tried clearing the codes?

I have cleared the codes but I don't know if my car supports different modes for steering. Changing ADS make no difference to feel. My previous car (2014 Octavia vRS) also had different modes and I could feel the difference with that.

I activated them on my 60 plate and they work with the steering angle, like you said maybe you don't have the correct module for it to work.

Two things then:

Anyone know where the central electronics control module is located in the car?

and

Can anyone post the part number of there one? Mine is version C

To be honest I wouldn't go through to much effort to get them working, they make no difference when driving and do look a bit strange when you see them working on the car approaching you.
