Facelift Cooling fan running after stopping.

I did a search and looked at the FAQ's but I can't find anything about this although I'm sure I read a post concerning this.
The cooling fan seems to be running after I park the car in the garage. This has happened a couple of times. The weather was below 7c and I hadn't been in traffic or driving super fast beforehand so no real reason to warrant the fan. Fluid levels are fine.
Anything I should check or worry about or is this normal?

This is absolutely normal apparently, took mine back to Audi after it did this a couple of times and they said nothing to worry about.

So I stopped worrying about it.

Mine did it when new but not recently (4000 miles now), maybe just colder outside.

The fan runs to help cool down the engine after use. As the engine gets its hottest just after you turn it off, due to the air flow that's lost from driving. Completely normal, more common on hot weather and hard driving. But can still happen any time.
