Connect license expired

Hi all. Im sure theres a thread here about this some where so apologies.
After 3 years my connect license expired and wondered if any of you have had it renewed free..its showing about £140 for the year in myaudi app.i have heard owners have had it renewed free ..any ideas? Thanks!

I emailed my service department and requested they reactivate it, sent me an email once done (think had to be authorised at HQ). No charge.

Since then I’ve had Android Auto installed, and honestly not used it since

Audi started charging from Dec 2021. After my initial 3 years free I managed a further 2 years free until last Dec once they had sorted charges/payments
We use it for the satellite overlay (wife & I love it) & real-time traffic updates. Have a think about it as it just might not be worth the money for everyone, all depends why you want/need it.
