Cone or panel filter or none on A4 b8

Hi

I have a A4 avant s line quattro 2.0 Diesel B8 and was looking at changing the air filter. Has anyone put in a cone filter and if so was it worth it or not?

It would be useless, lose power, causes air leak faults to flash up and you van hear the air all the time.
Better with a decent panel filter, Audi induction on their diesels is already the best.

Oe paper .

Oe performance panel aftermarket and cones have no performance benefit .

So basically don't waste my money and just leave the filter already in the car lol

As Gazwould said, diesel engines have an abundance of air and no performance filter will do as good a job at filtering out the dirt as the OE paper one. Just replace the paper one at regular intervals.
