Greetings all,

My S3 is coming up to 40K in mileage and has been regularly serviced by Audi which I know wouldn't do certain parts besides their regular inspection parts. It's had a water pump and cam belt changed recently but besides these are there any other parts I should inspect or have replaced? I know and will be getting the cam follower replaced.

Thanks in advance.

Pic of my car for attention

Some people say the oil pick up pipe if you have had it on a long life service plan. Think it was badger 5 that did a strong worded write up on it

Cam follower
Pcv & gasket
Latest Dv

Ontop of the above I changed the following when I bought my s3 -

Cam cover seal
Rear diff oil
Haldex oil

I'll be doing gear/transfer oil when the clutch gets changed.

I need to do the oil pick up too

What's the latest DV for these?

I think it is the G version iirc. If your running more boost you may want to consider the other variant, which can handle more boost. Might be a D version.... I am sure someone will confirm this...

Found these parts;
06F 145 710 C and 06F 145 710 G were diaphragm type DV's.

06H 145 710 D is the later type piston type DV.

Thanks for the info mate, still standard. It's a late 2012 8p s3 so would assume it had the standard updated dv already.

I just replaced mine which was a rev C with a rev G. But I only have a 2.0 tfsi, not an S3.
Well, yet anyway!! I'll keep dreaming!
