I retrofitted a light/rain/humidity sensor to my 2013 A3 8V, replacing it with the existing humidity sensor and coding everything with VCDS. I also enabled CH/LH as well as the MMI menu option and it works well. However, there's some weird behavior when unlocking the car.
The car sort of "remembers" the last state it was in. What I mean by that is when I park the car in day light, lights on AUTO (turned off because of sun) and come back to it at night - instead of turning on the LH lights on unlock, they don't, only on a second press.
When I park the car at night, lights on AUTO (turned on because of dark) and come back to it at the morning - the LH lights turn on but if I lock it and unlock it again they don't.
