Comfort control module

Hi all.
I’ve got issues with my comfort control module on my a4 b7, after getting diagnostic check done by Audi dealership it needs replacement. They’ve quoted nearly £1000 for the part and fitting. Ouch!
Want to do it myself, been told I need the exact part number for a straight swap. So how close do I need to get the numbers and will I need a key recode after fitting?

Hi Tom, Reg is: and the number on the module is 8E0 959 433 CH
It would be great to get a solution, having no interior lights is getting annoying now.

seems a bit steep for a module.
they can be had for lower amounts for good used ones.
