Hi all, A3 8p 1.9tdi 58 plate. Last year my fan/blower died, so I replaced fan and resistor. Ever since the fan takes a while to come on, the centre console shows them to be on but it takes a few minutes until air actually comes one which is a pain on a cold morning. Once it’s starts to work it’s fine until car is switched off overnight. No error codes shown. Any ideas?

Sounds like a motor is an issue, needs calibration, also check for anything blocking the flaps above the fan unit, glovebox out job.
Nothing blocking the fans that I can see. No noises either. It was a new motor from euro. Presume this will still need calibration? If so can you recommend anyone in Hertfordshire?

Tbh there is a basic setting that can be done, that may help or throw light on the issue, either way needs diagnostics on it whilst testing.
