Centre console/dash removal!

Anyone have a how to on this please? I'm in the process of fitting my stereo and am stuggling to find places for the 'brain' box. Figured it would be easier to put it in the boot somewhere so need to remove the centre console.

Any help much appreciated.

what stereo, what car, and what is the brain box and how big is it.

Car is a B7 A4 Avant Sline
Stereo is an Alpine IVA-D310R
Brain box is about 6" by 12" and 1" thick.

The brain should fit up behind the glovebox, quite a bit of room up there. My telephone, MP3 player and DVD player are all up there in my A4.

Nah it sure wont. I've taken it apart all ready. managed to fit 2 of the other boxes and the parrot fit under the other side of the dash but the brains and the cables won't go behind the glove box. It's ok though, I'll work out how to remove the console and run the cables to the boot.
