Brake lights flashing when indicating...

Hi guys,

Really random, and something that I hadn't noticed but my friend was following me today and rang me to say every time I indicated, my brake lights also flashed in sync with them...

When I put my hazards on, they both flash in sync also..

The only thing that has been done is the amber front indicators have been coded to become side lights, but the rear brake lights do not shine at this stage with the fronts in that configuration...

Any help would be appreciated

You sure about that? It sounds like a US setting to me.

Well I had thought about that, but what are the chances that would have been coded in?

How do I go about getting that sorted, is it a code-able feature on UK spec cars?

You need to get the vcds cable and check coding. There are options for US coding on lights
