Haven't been on here in a while, but I've just bought a new car and it's giving me a problem I just cannot figure out.
At first I thought it just had a slight miss-fire, very old spark plug like, but then I played with it a wee bit. The missfire is still there under load and it seems to be limiting at 4k rpm. There's no EML just the abs light, and it's burning a lot of fuel.
This is where it gets more trivial. When I say "limit" at 4k, it's not like the usual rev limiter, it's more like the car is dying than limiting.
So does anybody have any idea what this might be? Just thought I'd check before I go buying coil packs and air flow meters.
