Noticed that the boot trim was coming away from the metal yesterday.
While surprised that this is happening within the first 1.5 years of ownership - never happened on any other car I've ever owned - I got down to some DIY fixing.
Got some anti-drip Bostik Glue Gel and carefully put the glue on the boot trim.
Pushed the trim back to the metal and held it for a couple of minutes.
All good and looks just like new.
Wondered how this had happened in the first place and realised that it's where the boot handle is when you come to shut an open boot.
The constant pulling on the handle has over the last year and half started to pull the trim away from the metal.
Anyway, while disappointed (from a quality perspective) that this has occurred, pleased that it can be fixed with a £3.79 tube of glue.
