Boot opens from remote only?

Hi guys, I've lived wth the issue for months but it keeps bothering me, I cannot open the boot from the button on the door card nor the boot handle, if I stick the key in the lock and turn it would open as well as the button on the remote it would trigger the lock as well.
Any ideas why is this happening?

Unlock it with the key, should then work off the button on the bootlid.

Just double checked now and it actually works now, thanks mate! Can't believe I drove like this for months
