Boot Area Body Lights Removal

Before I go in with the screw drivers - how do you remove the lens from the boot area - rectangular rear lights ( seen when boot is open ) as my wife's car has green 'algae' around the edges as it stays outside all year.

Don't know if they prise out or if I need to remove the boot trim to get them from the back ?

On my A1 I just use a soft bristled paint brush and poke the bristles under the edges of the lights with some car shampoo and that removes most of algae type stuff that accumulates there.
