Thought they looked pretty horrid on tv, saw one in the flesh today and oh my god

I never thought that BMW would be able to make an uglier car than the current range (IMHO) but they've managed.

Lots of recycled materials used in its construction. Much of the plastics are recycled from other BMWs apparently and hence lots of very poor plastics on it. Even the leather looks cheap.

Can't agree more about the looks - Chris Bangle would be proud I'm sure.

I sat in a pre-production version at Swindon BMW in January and it did not look or feel inside like a £100k car. Usual BMW crap.

I don't like BMW's and wouldn't even contemplate buying one, but I have to say they are one of the first to take a bold step and actually put into production what effectively is a concept car. All other manufacturers in my opinion use bits and pieces from their concepts and stick it in their standard road going cars.
