Blown Turbo A3 1.8T

Hello,

at 100k miles my turbo died.

My engine is a AGU, and I would like to know if the
other users of this forum that have the same engine
had problems with the turbo ?

I was very lucky the turbo blow on a gas station so
I had time to shudown the engine and I hope I have
no damage on it

Hi,

Well, when I turned the engine on a huge cloud of white smoke
appeared on the rear side of my car, it was a terrible smell
of burn oil!

I drove a few meters to the next parking and when I came to the
back of the car I saw the same white smoke coming from the exuast.

It was around 20 degrees so that wasnt because the weather was cold that
I saw the smoke.

I shutdown the car, and check the oil level, it was at the minimum!
My car had a oil change and a good service in less that 500 miles!

I called the 24 hour service and they had no doubt about it

Let's see what they tell me on the next couple of days
