I really can't belive the head gasket has blown on my 11 plate 1.8t a3 sportback black edition it's only got 32k on the clock and fash and I've only owned it 5months.
things seemed wrong a few weeks back I felt some loss of power and then the oil light came on so I checked everywhere for leaks, I knew there was oil in the engine as only checked it the day before but couldn't find anything leaking but was almost empty so topped it up noticed plumes of steam coming out the tail pipes so rang my local stealership as its still under warranty it took an age to get booked in finally went in 22/12 and was confirmed Xmas eve there's an external head gasket leak so currently waiting for the extended warranty to agree to repair the car.
