It’s in the glove box. Not seen an A3 without one, no matter what spec.

If you have it, then maybe check the glove box! That’s your best answer! It should do though!

Should it not be standard?
It is true however that some new cars no longer come with cd players, with no option to add them.
My previous Honda Civic was like this.
