Battery Disconnection Procedure?

Morning all, fairly new to audis. I was just wondering if there is any particular procedure to be followed before disconnecting the battery in my facelift S6?
I am disconnecting it to carry out electrical work so using a battery charger/saver is not an option. Other vehicles i have had previously require all the doors closed for 5min for electronics to shut down before disconnecting.

Obviously i cant close the tailgate once disconnected as it is an electric latch.

I've disconnected mine with no set procedure and had no issues
