Battery coding

I've removed my original battery on my s3, and put in the exact same part number the bem code on the new battery is BA2150612CY2T
I've entered 2150612CY2T
I've put this in, once coded I can not see the last digit (T)
Is this right?
Can't see anything else on the battery apart from the part number 6RO 915 105 B
Exactly same batterys, both efb and both genuine.

I wouldn't be concerned, as long as you've coded/changed the serial number your vehicle will know it's got a new battery so charge accordingly.

To answer you question looks like serial number is only 10 digits long if you are using VCDS to code, see official Ross-Tech site here.
