b8 s4 on 20" rotors max tyre size/profile? std height car

hi folks-recently bought an s4,came with 2 sets rims
drove it home on the 20" rotors-et26 genuine wheels-tyres 265/30-seemed ok -no skuff,car seems standard height
i would like to fit 255/35/20-has anybody done this on a std car with the agressive offset rims-would like the extra cushion the 35 profile would offer
car is on 19" just now and it simply doesnt look as good at all

thanks-i tried those types of sites-thought i would ask on here in case anybody had the same set up
i suppose most folk have the cars lowered though
