B7 headlamp protectors

Hi guys, does anyone have headlamp protectors fitted to theirs cars?. I have bought a second hand set and the top clips are missing, the guy reckons they were fitted to his car like that... I very much doubt it as they flap around without said clips. If you have these fitted would it be possible to upload a pic of the top clips?

By top clips do you mean the tabs the bolts go through to secure the headlights?

If so, chances are at somepoint they've come off a front end crashed car, hence the broken tabs.

On some cars headlight tab repair brackets can be bought from an oem parts supplier, looking into that option would be my first port of call.

Hi Alex, Thanks for the reply. I’m after a pic of the clips for acrylic headlamp protectors which somehow attach to the headlights at the tops.. I’ve googled far and wide but can’t find the info, any pics that were here have disappeared. My pic will show you what I’m on about..
