Audio settings question

So I've taken delivery of my new A4 Avant today but have a question about the sound settings.

Whilst I can adjust the bass, treble, sub settings and so forth, these appear to be 'global' and not on a per-source basis.
Is this correct?

Rather annoying if so as I'd like to tweak music sources and radio separately, for example. This feels rather elementary.

I agree and have not found a way around this.

I've also noticed the following. While you are using an Audi MMI music source (i.e. the radio or the Audi streaming interfaces) you can use settings to adjust said bass, treble, sub settings, you can't to this while using Apple CarPlay. Also annoying!

That said, the S4 gets better and better as the miles are put on. Perhaps the car is loosening up or something?
