Audi TT mk2 Tfsi engine cutting out when bulb error light on dash

Hi all, new to this site. I have a problem with my TT tfsi dsg model. It seems to cut out randomly but only happens when one of the rear lights fuse such as brake light or reverse light. The bulbs keep fusing after couple days when changed. Any ideas? Seems like it's got an electrical problem but why would the engine cut out?

Somebody has just had the same issue on another Audi. Can't remember which though.

Thanks for the reply guys. My lights on dash work fine. The car works fine until one of the bulbs blow then it has problems. I've had it plugged in at a garage and no codes come up. Engine light comes on but still no codes
