Audi towbar removal.how? 2008 quattro

can anyone tell me how I get towbar off? When I unlock it with key I can't figure how it comes off. Thanks

You normally have to push in the knob then turn it on a removable type bar.

If its anything like my westfalia detachable, insert the key and turn to unlock(allows the knob to turn), pull out on the knob and turn clockwise and the ball will drop out. Maybe worth a shot! Is it the oem alko towbar?

as above , I have a westfalia item , key in and turn key , pull out knob and turn clockwise... so just the same as Alex.
