Audi Sound System... Missing Sub?

Hi guys,

I’ve got a FL S Line with (I believe), the Audi Sound System as It’s got the dash centre speaker and tweeters.

I’ve never really thought about it, but when I was hoovering the boot out earlier I decided to look at the sub. Removed the spare wheel and there wasn’t a sub! I couldn’t see any wiring connectors either.

Any ideas what could be going on? Is there any other way of determining if it is meant to have a sub?

I know this is pretty vague but I’d appreciate any thoughts!

Is it a saloon? If so I 5hink the sub is under the rear shelf.

Sorry I should have said, it’s a 3 door hatchback

If it’s an Audi Sound System my 4 door 15’ plate Sportback had the sub sat in the middle of the spare wheel (top side of spare wheel, shaped to fit the wheel). Have you used the MyAudi app to see if your car has Audi Sound System specced?

Thanks for your reply. I’ve attached a screenshot from the myaudi app, which doesn’t say A.S.S. but does state 8 speakers?

Sounds like you have the basic sound system, not ***. *** has 10 speakers, including sub.

1-second google search got this....You obviously don't have Audi Sound System, just the standard system.

Ah thanks, that's a shame. I was obviously looking at the wrong thing
