Audi S3 turbo onto TQ

IF i had a spare, brand spanking new K04 turbo lying around, what would be involved in fitting it to my Tq?

Is it a direct fit? obviously a new map... what about injectors, do i need to buy larger ones?

The only thing i can think of is fitting the ******, new map and possible bigger injectors- anything i forget?

new map and injectors are definetaly needed. the s3 has twin intercoolers so maybe you would suffer from heat soak a lot. apart from that at the moment cant think of anything else.

Ask AmD. I think they used to fit K04s to K03 engined 1.8Ts a few years ago. As I recall it was turbo, a few ancilliaries and a remap. I don't think they changed the manifold, injectors etc.

The K04 AmD use would be the K04.01 which is really not much better than a late model K03 for power.

On TQ, you could swap the manifold, turbo, downpipe, injectors, intake pipe and MAF tube and get it remapped to chipped S3 spec.... Would only really be worth it though if you could pick it all up for a good price.
